Innovation in Cultural Heritage

The Master in Digital Cultural Heritage is part of a CRUSOE initiative that has materialized the University of Santiago de Compostela and the University of A Coruña with the aim of training experts trained in the construction, management and dissemination of digital heritage.

The Master’s student will be able to offer solutions for the digital treatment of heritage in all its meanings.

The teachings taught in the Master’s program unite humanistic and technological knowledge to meet a growing and underserved need for human resources.

The training in this Master aims to contribute to the generation of an endogenous productive fabric in Southwest Europe.

The Master has agreements with companies of the highest level for the realization of the mandatory internships.

In keeping with the commitment of this Master’s program to putting the knowledge acquired into practice, the universities that offer the program have signed agreements with prestigious multinational companies, such as NTT Data, as well as national, regional and local companies, to guarantee the comprehensive development of their students’ skills.

Curriculum

Of the 116 credits offered, 90 must be taken, distributed as follows: 30 compulsory, 30 optional, 15 corresponding to the compulsory external practices and 15 dedicated to the Master’s Thesis.

Faculty

The teaching team is mostly made up of professors from the faculties of Xeography and History of the USC and Computer Science of the UDC, although collaborating and guest professors from the public and private sectors will also give classes.
